Papermaking with Native and Invasive Plants

In this one-day workshop, learn about native-agressive and non-native invasive plant species growing in the Philadelphia area and how to make paper from them. We begin with an introduction and identification of collected plants (mugwort, bittersweet, paper mulberry), learn about their preparation before becoming paper pulp, and using these fibers we'll make a variety of handmade papers. Beginners and the experienced welcome. Engage your senses with these summer harvested plants! Register here: http://www.paperthinktank.com/classes-workshops/register/
