Educational Art Project for Children and Families
Saturday June 11, 2011 - 2 to 4 p.m.
For this year's Art in the Open celebration, the FWWIC will be offering a free educational art project for children and families. Visitors will make their own colorful and rhythmic rain sticks out of recycled materials and decorate them with images representing the various stages of the natural water cycle-- clouds, rain and sun are all you need to keep the world replenished with fresh clean water! The program will be offered every Saturday in June from 2:00 to 4:00pm out in the open underneath our neoclassical pavilion at the river's edge.
