Drawing from Nature: The Art and Science of Botanical Illustration

This outdoor workshop invites participants to learn the basics of observational drawing, as a method for plant identification as well as a starting point for naturalistic design motifs. The workshop includes a look at the interior spaces of the historic house Mount Pleasant, which features architectural carving derived from nature. Materials are provided. Open to participants of all levels. No prior drawing instruction required. Note: Please bring your lunch-drinks provided.

$75 ($60 members); Enrollment limited to twenty participants. Paid reservations required.
