Garden History Tour
Fri June 11 to Sun June 13, 2010 - 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
Tour the historic garden and discover the plants that the Bartram's collected and brought into cultivation making Bartram's Garden the birthplace of American botany. Each season there is something new to experience in the garden with seasonal blooms and migratory birds. Early June one of William Bartram's most popular discoveries, the oak leaf hydrangea is dripping in large white blooms. The common flower garden is a riot of color with love-lies-bleeding, kiss-me-over-the-garden-gate, nodding onion and many more curious flowers.
